What is going on in the Toward the Stars and Dreams Arc?
“Toward the Stars and Dreams,” Oshi no Ko’s eleventh and final arc, takes place after the events of the film The 15-Year Lie. B-Komachi members work for their goals and make plans for the future, which leads to a final battle with Hikaru Kamiki.
Hikaru Kamiki admits his role in Ai’s death when Aqua confronts him about it. He accuses Ai of abandoning him just when he needed her most. Aqua, however, plays a DVD in which Ai asserts that she loved Hikaru in her own unique way.
However, Aqua is aware that Hikaru cannot be held accountable for all of the fatalities and believes that Fuyuko Niino, a former member of B-Komachi, is the one responsible. Meanwhile, Nino intends to kill Ruby after realizing she has eclipsed Ai as an idol.
After stabbing Ruby, she reveals that she is actually Akane wearing a disguise. Ichigo Saitou is holding the real Nino in check. Hikaru is confronted by Aqua on his scheme to get Nino to kill Ruby.
He decides to stab himself, accuse Hikaru, and have them both tumble off the cliff to their deaths after realizing he must take drastic measures to protect Ruby. Akane laments Aqua’s passing on the beach in Chapter 164, which confirms his passing.
