Overwatch 2‘s game director Aaron Keller has finally given some new stuff for Venture away, but the news hasn’t exactly gone down well with players. It will take some time before Venture Mains get what they want.
Since Venture was released in Season 10, Overwatch players have noticed a lack of content. The only buzz they generated was for a short animated video that ran less than a minute, and they didn’t release any Legendary skins.
Meanwhile, Juno has been treated much differently. Blizzard put a lot more effort into creating buzz for her even if they didn’t offer her a full cinematic. Dorado, for instance, provided Juno with an in-game Easter Egg that revealed specific character information.
The developers of Venture have acknowledged that they haven’t received enough skins in the two seasons since its debut, but many weren’t happy with Aaron Keller, the game director,’s reaction.
Season 14 will see the release of the Venture skins, despite Aaron’s statement to the contrary. Since Overwatch 2 Season 12 debuts on August 20, 2024, there is still a long way to go.
Seasons endure sixty days on average, but occasionally they continue a little longer. Venture won’t get a high-effort cosmetic until 2025, and maybe not even that late in 2024.
It will take almost a year after launch for Venture to get a Legendary skin because they won’t be accessible until April 18, 2024. On the other hand, every other Overwatch character made their debut with at least two Legendaries.
One gamer said, “Okay, that is crazy unacceptable lmao.”
“You’re saying we have to wait another two seasons when Venture came out two seasons ago?” Another expressed shock. It will take a lot longer for those who have been patiently waiting for more Venture content.
Some, on the other hand, are eager to see what the Overwatch team has in store and predict that they’ll immediately give them a Mythic skin.
It’s unclear if Juno will premiere without the Legendary skin as well, but if she does, gamers will be left wondering just what transpired with Venture.
