“Pachinko” Season 2 is almost ready for release!
“Pachinko,” which covers Korea, Japan, and the United States, is a multigenerational tale of love and separation, war and peace, and victory and judgment. It is based on Min Jin Lee’s best-selling novel of the same name. Joining Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho, and Kim Min Ha in the show’s star-studded roster this season is actor Kim Sung Kyu.
“Pachinko” tells the detailed story of a Korean immigrant family over four generations, from the 1980s to the Japanese colonial era. Their first contact is with Hansu (Lee Min Ho), a fresh middleman who shows up in Yeongdo, Busan at the beginning of the 20th century. The narrative goes more into the life of Sunja (Kim Min Ha), a mother paving her own route in life with her tenacity and vitality in Season 2. It promises to once again have a significant influence on viewers all over the world.
Eight episodes total from Season 2 will air one at a time every week beginning on August 23 and continuing through October 11.
