The first batch of Rabbit’s pocket-sized device, the R1, which is meant to utilize your apps for you, has already sold out. The startup Rabbit stated that it has sold 10,000 units in a single day in a post on X (previously Twitter).
Rabbit writes, “We said internally that we’d be happy if we sold 500 devices on launch day when we started building r1.” “We already beat that by 20 times in just 24 hours!”
Tuesday at CES, Rabbit unveiled the R1, a device with a diminutive 2.88-inch touchscreen powered by Rabbit OS. “Large Action Model” that functions as a “sort of universal controller for apps.” This eliminates the need for you to use your phone to perform tasks like sending messages, purchasing groceries, and playing music through a single interface. Additionally, it enables you to teach the gadget how to use a particular program.
The R1 device is still available for preorder on Rabbit’s website, even if the first batch is sold out. According to Rabbit, delivery is anticipated in April or May of 2024. However, if you were able to order before the initial batch of devices sold out, you may anticipate that they will begin delivery in March.
