The physician will be here in less than a week! Next week, Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp will debut alongside a new cast of characters in Crunchyroll’s winter anime season. The most recent character teaser for the show presents us with Ron, who is portrayed by Satoshi Hino (Ains Ooal Gown in Overlord).
Ron is characterized as a “mysterious aristocrat” who comes to the hospital where Elise, the main character, is recovering from her first-life trauma. He’s really shy and emotional, despite his cool, handsome demeanor. He falls in love with Elise and her sincere commitment to medicine.
Kumiko Habara is the director of Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp, an animation studio produced by MAHO FILM. It is based on the original work written by Yuin and illustrated by Mini. Character designs by Yuuko Watanabe and series composition by Deko Akao are also featured. On January 10, the show will make its Japanese TV debut. Crunchyroll will also be streaming the series as part of the winter 2024 anime simulcast roster.
