Right now, Ruggable is among our top rug brands, and with good reason. Ruggable rugs are stylish, long-lasting, and washable. The brand offers expertly designed designs and palettes through collaborations with a range of designers, such as Jonathan Adler, Morris & Co., and Nina Takesh. We are really happy about the current launch with Justina Blakeney of Jungalow.
Ruggable is also excited about this collaboration, says senior creative director Cassie Leisz. “We consider it an honor to collaborate with Justina Blakeney, who has been a trailblazer in the interior design industry for more than ten years,” she states. “We were drawn to her vibrant and creative approach to design and are excited to bring good vibes to the home with the Ruggable x Justina Blakeney collection.”
Given your familiarity with Jungalow and Blakeney’s distinctive style, you won’t be taken aback by the collection’s abundance of vivid and varied prints that showcase modern geometrics, animals, and plants. These pieces will provide a playful element to your house, according to Leisz, whether you want to decorate with captivating flashes of color or warm, earthy neutrals.
All the information you require about the line is provided here, along with a selection of our (and Blakeney’s) personal favorites and some styling advice from the designer.
The Assortment
There is something for every home with our selection of 15 interior rugs, 2 doormats, and 2 outdoor rugs. There are several forms and sizes to choose from, such as circular and runner rugs.
According to Blakeney, “every design has its own story and inspiration.” “While some of the carpets are directly from my gouache paintings, others drew inspiration from my trips to Morocco and New Mexico. Sometimes the designs just flow to me naturally; other times it’s difficult to pinpoint the particular source of inspiration.”
Ability to Combine and Match
These carpets offer the ideal canvas for creativity, regardless of your level of experience blending patterns. “When combining patterns, I like to be very mindful of scale,” Blakeney explains. “Use smaller motifs to counterbalance larger ones, and vice versa. This might prevent your room from looking overly cluttered. Attempt to stick to a color scheme as well. For a given room, I like to choose one or two dominating colors and one or two accent colors, then combine them. It gives the area a more unified vibe.
The designer suggests Etta, Sonia (in Sand and Ocean colors), and Nina rugs if you’re searching for multipurpose carpets because their color palettes are softer and more muted than those of some of the other alternatives.
