Ahead of the final week of the show, the stars of “Serendipity’s Embrace” have expressed their impressions!
“Serendipity’s Embrace,” a tvN drama about young people discovering genuine love and realizing their aspirations after unintentionally running into their first love from ten years ago, is based on the well-known webtoon of the same name. With just two episodes remaining, the drama’s leads reflected nostalgically on their time spent making the show and offered some spoilers about what fans should be watching as the narrative draws to an end.
“Thank you so much for loving ‘Serendipity’s Embrace’ and feeling the butterflies together with us,” Kim So Hyun said at the outset to the audience. While you watched, I hope it helped you in some little way to recover.
Kim So Hyun said, “The most memorable scene for me was when Hong Joo and Hoo Young were trapped in the pit,” in response to the question of which scene from the drama stuck out in her memory the most.
“Please stay with us until the very end to find out what kind of choice will be made by Hong Joo, who has a strong fear of the person she loves leaving her,” the actress said when asked what fans may expect in the next two episodes. “It would be beneficial to monitor each character’s decisions and development,” she continued.
“Serendipity’s Embrace” is “a drama that draws you in quietly and naturally,” according to Chae Jong Hyeop.
“Every scene from ‘Serendipity’s Embrace’ from start to finish is still very clear in my mind, almost like ‘live photos,'” he added. “When I first started out, my goal was to make the audience feel something, anything at all, so that they would look back on the past and smile at the memories.” I am incredibly appreciative of how many people saw and enjoyed the drama.
“I think it’d be good to keep an eye on how Hong Joo and Hoo Young will continue their relationship, as well as how the emotions and relationships between the characters in the drama will be wrapped up,” teased Chae Jong Hyeop when asked what fans should look out for.
Yun Ji On, meanwhile, selected the scene that he found most memorable as the one in which Kim Hye Ji (Dasom) cautions his character Bang Joon Ho.
He said, “I think that scene—Joon Ho not listening to anything he isn’t personally interested in—really showed the narcissism of the character.” “Jon Ho’s character and my real personality are very different, but I think playing him taught me a lot about acting.”
“Please keep an eye on how the conflicts between the characters, which have grown as a result of Do Sun’s arrival, will unfold,” the actor hinted at the upcoming final two episodes.
“You can safely look forward to the other characters’ love stories as well, as they will also give you fuzzy feelings,” continued Yun Ji On.
At last, Dasom said, “I was glad to have met the character of Hye Ji,” with humility. I hope that “Serendipity’s Embrace” did a great deal of healing for the audience.
“Please keep an eye on the romance between Hye Ji and Kyung Taek, whether Hong Joo and Hoo Young grow apart, and how Hoo Young will resolve his relationship with his mother,” she said.
“Serendipity’s Embrace” will show its last two episodes on August 12 and 13 at 8:40 p.m. KST.
