The first trailer for Apple’s science fiction series Constellation opens this week.
As an astronaut who “returns to Earth after a disaster in space—only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing,” Noomi Rapace plays the lead role in the series. This seems to show up as a slew of riddles in the teaser, including an eerie piano and an unidentified voice on a tape recorder, in addition to a ton of scary hallucinations. Peter Harness, the show’s creator and writer, is directing it. The remaining cast members include Barbara Sukowa, William Catlett, Julian Looman, Jonathan Banks, and James D’Arcy.
On February 21st, Constellation makes its launch with three episodes. Thereafter, new episodes air on Wednesdays. (Fans of haunting astronauts should have a great few weeks between this and Netflix’s Spaceman.)
The series is a part of Apple TV Plus’s continuous push into science fiction, which also includes shows like Severance, Foundation, Invasion, For All Mankind, Silo, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Hello Tomorrow.
