A forthcoming comedy-action drama starring Jin Ki Joo, Kim Min Ju, and Seo Kang Joon is literally titled “Undercover High School”!
Kim Min Ju and Jin Ki Joo were revealed on May 23 to be part of the upcoming MBC drama “Undercover High School.”
In response to the report, Kim Min Ju’s agency Management SOOP clarified, saying, “Kim Min Ju has received an offer to star in ‘Undercover High School’ and is positively reviewing it.” Jin Ki Joo’s camp has not yet reacted to the report.
In “Undercover High School,” a comedy-drama, a man goes undercover as a student to hide his true identity as an agent of the National Intelligence Service (NIS). As he progresses through school, he develops relationships and a sense of camaraderie with his peers. Drama is written by Im Young Bin, author of “Bad Prosecutor”
Back in March, there were rumors that Seo Kang Joon was in talks to portray the role of undercover agent Jung Hae Sung, who goes undercover as a high school student. When he is released from the military in May 2023, “Undercover High School” will be his first endeavor, if authorized.
Jin Ki Joo reportedly received an offer to work as Oh Soo Ah, a temporary teacher, and as Jung Hae Sung’s homeroom teacher at Byeongmun High School.
Kim Min Ju is negotiating to play the only child of the chairman and student council president of Byeongmun High School, Lee Ye Na. Notable for her calm and aloof demeanor, Lee Ye Na frequently takes first place in various competitions, popularity polls, and tournaments. To maintain her position at the top, she does, however, put in an unhealthy amount of rigorous work behind the scenes.
“Undercover High School” will make its MBC debut early in the following year. Keep an eye out for more announcements!
