A free Jack Sparrow’s Ship Glider is among the themed missions and cosmetics brought to Fortnite by the latest Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.
Fortnite and Disney’s popular Pirates of the Caribbean film series have partnered to provide a Cursed Sails collaboration event to gamers. Through the Cursed Sails pass and Item Shop, this partnership provides a ton of classic pirate skins and movie-related stuff.
The Jack’s Ship glider is one of the rewards you can obtain by completing Pirates of the Caribbean-related Quests between July 19, 2024, and August 6, 2024.
How to get Fortnite’s Jack’s Ship Glider unlocked
During the Cursed Sails event, do four quests from each Pirate Code Questline to obtain Jack’s Ship glider for free in Fortnite. Only Pirate Code One is available right now; the other seven will be accessible on the dates listed below:
- July 19, Pirate Code One Quests
- July 21, Pirate Code Two Quests
- July 23, Pirate Code Three Quests
- Quests for Pirate Code Four: July 25
- July 27, Pirate Code Five Quests
- Quests for Pirate Code Six: July 29
- July 31, Pirate Code Seven Quests
- August 2, Pirate Code Eight Quests
Select the pirate icon next to the Play tab and search for the View Quests option in the upper left corner of the screen to locate the Cursed Sails Quests. As an alternative, try searching the Quests tab for the Cursed Sails tab.
You can obtain one Map Piece and discover the Pirate Code after finishing four of the missions in the code. In order to get Jack’s Ship glider for free in Fortnite, you must have all 8 Map Pieces.
Fixing the Jack’s Ship Glider reward glitch
Some players have finished all the requisite tasks and obtained the necessary Map Pieces, yet they are still unable to claim Jack Sparrow’s free glider. On July 2, Epic Games offered the following remedy via a tweet from their official FortniteStatus account on Twitter/X:
We also know that not all players’ Pirate Code Bonus Goals are being tracked correctly. When the event is over, your Locker will receive the Jack’s Ship Glider as long as all eight Map Pieces have been gathered.
Few Fortnite fans welcomed Epic’s update, but those who did were incensed that they had to wait four days to get the Jack’s Ship Glider and that the change was “ridiculous.”
