Zenless Zone Zero version 1.2, titled “Tour de Inferno”, is set to release on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
New Characters and Banners
The 1.2 update introduces two new S-rank characters:
- Caesar King (Phase 1 Banner)
- S-rank Physical Defense agent
- Member of the Sons of Calydon faction
- Weapon: Sword and shield
- Burnice White (Phase 2 Banner)
- S-rank Fire Anomaly agent
- Also from the Sons of Calydon faction
- Weapon: Two flamethrowers
Additionally, a new S-rank Bangboo called Red Moccus will be available.
New Story Content
The update brings Chapter 4 of the main story, focusing on the Outer Ring area of New Eridu. Players will interact with the Sons of Calydon faction as they aim to take down their rival, The Vanquishers.
Events
Several new events are coming with the 1.2 update:
- Overlord’s Feast: Help revamp an old diner in the Wastelands. Rewards include obtaining the A-rank agent Lucy.
- Bizarre Brigade: A new Arcade Game at Goldfinger.
- Roaming the Ether: Investigate an old computer from a past civilization.
- 141 Friendship Fair: Participate in a new business plan for 141 players.
- Ridu For You: Unlock new puzzles at a new stand.
- Investigator Training Course: Learn about being a Hollow Investigator using owned characters.
- All New Program: Login for seven days to earn 10 Master Encrypted Tapes.
Gameplay Optimizations
The update includes several quality-of-life improvements:
- Easier movement around the TV Board within Hollows
- Automatic acquisition of Observation Data and rewards on the TV board after first completion
- Ability to establish preset lineups for combat
- Backup battery charge feature
- Free practice with characters from different factions[3]
This update promises to bring significant new content and improvements to Zenless Zone Zero, giving players plenty to explore and enjoy.
