After five years, “The Fiery Priest” is returning!
In SBS’s 2019 original series “The Fiery Priest,” a cowardly detective and a Catholic priest struggling with anger management collaborate to solve a murder case. With Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun in the lead roles during Season 1, the drama reached a peak audience figure of 22.0 percent.
A stunning new teaser poster for “Fiery Priest,” featuring Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun, announced the return of Season 2 on October 10. As they relocate their activities to Busan, Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil), Park Kyung Sun (Honey Lee), and Goo Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun) prepare to battle evil, according to the text “Bellato’s mission begins.”
The “fiery priest,” Kim Hae Il, is depicted as being chosen by the Pope and given the power to bring justice as the priest Bellato. He is standing confidently in the front and center of the poster, holding a rosary in one hand, creating suspense for what fresh evil he will encounter in Season 2.
Furthermore, investigator Goo Dae Young of the violent crimes unit of Gudam Police Station is prepared to offer full assistance with his weapon and ferocious glare, while prosecutor Park Kyung Sun transforms into a “apostle of justice” while brandishing a sword in one hand. Anticipation is high for the two dependable supporters’ rapport with Kim Hae Il.
