Costume historical drama The Rise of Ning 锦绣安宁 is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2024, on Hunan TV, Tencent, and Mango TV. The release date coincides with the beginning of the cozy season.
Not Like Your Ordinary Siblings
The series will star Zhang Wanyi and Ren Min as the son of the Luo family, who is a bastard and frequently tormented, and its rebellious daughter, who is desperate for independence. This is an unusual combination. This is undoubtedly an odd setup as, at first glance, the story appears to couple up a brother and sister, which is generally not recommended. The Ascent of Ning Overview
Based on Wen Tan’s book “First Complementary Development Manual” (首辅养成手册), Zhang Wanyi portrays Luo Shenyuan, the Luo family’s illegitimate third son. He is cunning and ingenious, despite the fact that his family has never valued him and that he gets bullied all the time. He skillfully conceals his abilities and maintains a modest profile. Ren Min portrays Luo Yining, the eccentric but law-abiding daughter, in the meantime. She frequently offered assistance to the “third brother” Luo Shenyuan since she couldn’t take his bullying.
