With his breakout performance in the 2020 boys’ love (BL) series “2gether,” where he costarred with Win Metawin, Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree soared to fame. Both Bright and Win joined the F4 group in Thailand’s rendition of “Boys Over Flowers” in 2021, which elevated Bright’s profile even more as he assumed the role of the new Dao Ming Si. The actor recently revealed his relationship with his former co-star Nene Zheng Naixin (Pornnappan Pornpenpipat), who intriguingly played the character “Air” in “2gether,” amid rumors about his personal life that had been circulating. Following the release of pictures of the couple holding hands in public in Japan, there was confirmation.

In addition, Nene Zheng Naixin came forward to attest to their relationship, apologizing for not disclosing the information earlier while simultaneously maintaining their resolve. She called Bright kind-hearted, but he thinks of her as one of the most valuable people he’s ever met. In addition, Bright revealed that they had been courting for some time and had been waiting for the appropriate opportunity to declare their love in public. He replied, “Yes,” when asked if Nene was his safe haven. However, some Chinese internet users took offense to Nene’s new romance.

Nene, a 26-year-old Thai singer and actress, shot to fame when she joined the C-pop girl group BonBon Girls 303 following her fifth-place result in the reality show “Produce Camp 2020.” Since then, she has amassed a devoted following through appearances on Chinese variety shows, music releases, and even landing the main female role in the micro dramas “Confess Your Love” opposite Song Jiyang, star of “The Untamed.”

Nene stated in her statement, “I always walk carefully as a public figure. I would like to make it clear that we have no animosity toward any individual or nation. I sincerely appreciate and adore my global fan base. Her comment seems to be related to something that occurred to Bright a few years back.

China’s Bright Controversy

Bright was involved in a scandal in China in 2020 after he liked and retweeted a photo of a photographer who claimed that Hong Kong was a distinct nation. The photographer immediately removed the post and expressed regret. In addition, Bright expressed regret and said that he had misread the caption. Shortly afterward, Weeraya Sukaram, a model who was briefly dating Bright, was accused of demeaning Chinese people by retweeting a post implying that China was the source of COVID-19 in a laboratory. A few months later, Bright apologized in a video on the Chinese social networking site Weibo. While some Chinese netizens thought this was too little, too late, other admirers said Bright didn’t even need to apologize.

Prior to taking part in the reality show “Produce Camp,” Nene had unfollowed Bright’s social media accounts and was just starting her trip in China. She did, however, encounter backlash after winning the show because she liked one of Bright’s Instagram posts. She denied doing so at the time, claiming she didn’t have internet connection. She also talked about how much she loved China and how her parents had taught her to be Chinese.

Nevertheless, it appears that the Thai actor is still receiving backlash over what transpired, and several C-fans now feel deceived by her relationship with Bright. However, a lot of people have also expressed support for the newlyweds.
