Woo Do Hwan has been added to the impressive list of celebrities that could appear in the upcoming drama “Knock Off” (working title)!
The news of Woo Do Hwan starring in the upcoming Disney+ original series “Knock Off” was first revealed by Star-News on July 15.
Woo Do Hwan’s agency, Blitzway Studios, responded to the report by sharing, “Woo Do Hwan has received an offer for a special appearance in the new drama ‘Knock-Off’ and is currently reviewing it.”
The plot of “Knock-Off” centers on Kim Sung Joon (Kim Soo Hyun), a regular guy who loses his job as a result of the IMF crisis. Later, toward the close of the 20th century, he enters the counterfeit products industry, eventually rising to become the world’s foremost counterfeiter in the 21st.
According to reports, Woo Do Hwan will play Lee Min Seok, a friend from high school who advises Kim Sung Joon to start a counterfeit goods company. Lee Min Seok is also the CEO of Korea’s biggest portal site. The details of Woo Do Hwan’s persona are still up for debate, according to a statement from his agency.
Woo Do Hwan is in talks to star in the drama, along with Kim Soo Hyun, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Si Eun, Yoo Jae Myung, Go Kyu Pil, and Lee Jung Eun. Additionally, it was believed that Kwon Nara and Kim Moo Yeol were in talks for the drama; however, their representatives have not yet responded to the reports.
