Stills from Kim Jung Hyun and Geum Sae Rok’s forthcoming weekend drama “Iron Family” (literal title) have been released by KBS2.
“Don’t Dare to Dream” (also known as “Jealousy Incarnate”), “Wok of Love,” and “Pasta” screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang are the authors of “Iron Family,” a dark comedy about a family that has operated a washing business for three generations. Kim Jung Hyun, Geum Sae Rok, Kim Young Ok, Park In Hwan, Shin Hyun Joon, Park Ji Young, and Kim Hye Eun were previously confirmed to star in the drama.
Seo Kang Joo, the executive director of Jiseung Group and the son of the wealthiest family in the Cheongryeom district, will be portrayed by Kim Jung Hyun.
Lee Da Rim, the youngest child of the Cheongnyeom Laundry family, will be portrayed by Geum Sae Rok in the lead role. Since she was 14 years old, Da Rim has had an irreversible illness that has gradually reduced her vision. Da Rim has vision loss, but she is brave and self-assured. After her illness is miraculously cured, Da Rim becomes irate at the exorbitant cost of her care. After being apart for eight years, Da Rim eventually gets back in touch with Seo Kang Joo, with whom she has many special memories.
The initial meeting between Lee Da Rim and Seo Kang Joo is shown in the public images. Rather than utilizing a cane, Da Rim grabs onto Kang Joo’s arm when they meet at a crosswalk. In return, Kang Joo looks after Da Rim well and guides her tactfully to her objective.
Eight years have passed since the two characters who had shared priceless moments got back together. Now a prosperous socialite, Kang Joo acts strangely because he is taken aback by the sudden encounter with Da Rim.
September will see the premiere of “Iron Family,” which is the sequel to “Beauty and Mr. Romantic.” Keep checking back!
