The first official image of Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon from their upcoming drama “Carry Sun Jae and Run” on tvN has been released!
“Carry Sun Jae and Run” is a new time-slip romantic drama that is based on the well-known web book “The Best of Tomorrow.” It follows Im Sol, a devoted fan who is crushed by the death of her favorite celebrity Ryu Sunjae, as she travels back in time to save him. Lee Si Eun, the author of “True Beauty” and “Top Star U-Back,” will script the drama.
Ryu Sun Jae, a well-known South Korean top star admired for his flawless appearance, talent, and charisma, is portrayed by Byun Woo Seok. Even though Ryu Sun Jae has dominated the entertainment sector since his debut, he eventually suffers a horrible death. Im Sol’s tranquil life starts to alter when he is taken back in time to Ryu Sun Jae’s colorful adolescence at the age of 19.
Im Sol, an enthusiastic fan who goes back in time to save her beloved bias Ryu Sun Jae, will be portrayed by Kim Hye Yoon. After a childhood accident broke Im Sol’s dreams, she turned to Ryu Sunjae, seeking comfort in his music when she happened to hear it on the radio. Im Sol inexplicably goes back in time fifteen years after Ryu Sun Jae’s terrible death. Im Sol is currently battling to stop Ryu Sun Jae’s terrible destiny in high school.
Lee Seung Hyub of N.Flying and Hyuk of OMEGA X have also been confirmed to join Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon in the drama’s cast. Baek In Hyuk, the band’s leader and guitarist, is portrayed by Lee Seung Hyub, while Hyuk plays Jay, the group’s youngest member.
The drama series “Carry Sun Jae and Run” on tvN is scheduled to debut in 2024 on Monday through Tuesday. Watch this space for updates!
