“Doctor Slump,” starring Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Shik, is getting ready to make a comeback!
The romantic comedy “Doctor Slump” tells the tale of Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye), who solely followed prosperous paths until falling into a slump and trying to save their lives. In their darkest moments, the two bitter enemies will come together and become each other’s ray of sunshine, providing amusement, joy, and comforting words along the journey.
For the first time in ten years since their successful project “Heirs,” Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye are reunited in a drama with “Doctor Slump.” The drama will be written by scriptwriter Baek Sun Woo of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” and directed by Oh Hyun Jong of “Find Me in Your Memory” and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.”
The interesting relationship between Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik is depicted in the recently published teaser poster, which recalls the moments when Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jung Woo first crossed paths at Youngwon High School.
The two clutch their books tightly and give off the impression of being a page from their yearbook, cautious of one another. Model student Yeo Jung Woo gleams with a competitive energy, while Nam Ha Neul emanates confidence. The poster’s language, which alludes to their intense competition, says, “Heaven cannot brook two suns, and the school cannot have two No. 1 students!”
“Please be aware of the previous story of Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jung Woo, who are entangled in a hate relationship from their first encounter during their most brilliant times,” the production team posted. “The reunion of Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye will bring laughter and heart-fluttering excitement with their refreshing chemistry,” they continued. This is the event to look out for.
On January 27, “Doctor Slump” will make its debut.
