Fans eagerly anticipating the release of The Apothecary Diaries Episode 13 today were disappointed to learn the new episode will not air as scheduled.
The anime has been following a meticulously planned schedule, culminating last week with the exciting Episode 12 finale of its first course. As previously revealed, The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 will have two courses totaling 24 episodes.
However, details have already been unveiled for the second course, including the January 6, 2024 premiere date, new opening and ending theme songs, and an intriguing one-minute trailer on the official Toho Animation YouTube channel – which should comfort anxious fans.
The break between the end of the first part and the start of the second will only be one week, so fans should mark their calendars for next Saturday, January 6, when the highly anticipated Episode 13 will air.
The new course’s opening theme “Ambivalent” is by artist Uru, while the ending theme “Ai wa Kusuri” is by Wacci. These new additions are expected to enhance the overall anime experience.
Looking back at the first course, it has received praise for faithfully adapting the first light novel volume. Fans grow more excited as the second course will dive into light novel Volume 2.
It’s important to note several other ongoing anime series are also taking a brief New Year’s break this week. We’ll continue providing updates on the latest anime news as it develops.
