At the box office, the star-studded new movie “Exhuma” is off to a great start!
In the occult mystery film “Exhuma,” a feng shui master (Choi Min Sik), a mortician (Yoo Hae Jin), and two exorcists (Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun) relocate unusual graves in exchange for a sizable sum of money.
Following two days of dominance at the Korean box office on February 22 and 23, the movie has now seen more than one million screenings. By the morning of February 24, “Exhuma” has drawn 1,000,891 viewers overall, according to the Korean Film Council. This means that it took the film less than three days to reach the one million mark.
The recent blockbuster “12.12: The Day,” which was Korea’s largest box office smash of 2023 (and required almost four days to surpass one million moviegoers), did not reach the milestone as quickly as “Exhuma.”
