Due to health issues, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie and Yuqi have temporarily suspended their activities with only a few days remaining till their planned return.
Cube Entertainment revealed that Yuqi and Minnie had visited the hospital that day due to a sudden deterioration of their health and a high fever. This announcement was made on the evening of January 26. A doctor there counseled them to stop all activities and obtain enough sleep before going back to their regular schedule.
As (G)I-DLE is set to return on January 29 with its second full-length album, “2,” Cube Entertainment has announced that it will be making other announcements about scheduling modifications in the near future.

Hello.
This is Cube Entertainment.
We are making an announcement regarding (G)I-DLE’s Minnie and Yuqi’s health and future schedule.
This evening (the 26th), Minnie and Yuqi went to the hospital due to a sudden worsening of their health and a high fever, and in accordance with the doctor’s opinion, they have halted all of their scheduled activities and are currently getting plenty of rest and treatment.
We sincerely apologize for giving cause for concern to the fans who have been waiting for (G)I-DLE’s comeback.
We will consider the health of our artists our top priority in terms of proceeding with [(G)I-DLE’s] scheduled activities, and we will make another announcement regarding changes to their schedule.
Once again, we ask for fans’ deep understanding, and we will do our utmost for our artists’ health and recovery so that they can meet the fans in good health.
