There is a hint in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 266 that suggests Sukuna could soon experience something akin to Gojo’s Cursed Technique problem.
The heroes of Jujutsu Kaisen are still fighting Sukuna tooth and nail in the Battle of the Strongest in an effort to stop the demon from becoming the strongest. Even though the battle has been going on for months, it is gradually coming to an end.
A small visual cue in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 266 implies that the tide may be about to shift in favor of the surviving heroes, as Sukuna appears to be genuinely at the pinnacle of his powers.
The King of Curses is seen in one panel as having a nosebleed. Though not particularly noticeable on its own, readers have noted that Gojo was bleeding similarly prior to Unlimited Void’s sixth attempt at executing the technique failing.
Though you might not immediately consider it, the more you consider it, the more sense it begins to make. One of the greatest sorcerers of all time gave Sukuna five Unlimited Voids, which had some residual consequences.
He has been using his own extensive repertoire of Cursed Techniques in the meantime, which has significantly depleted his energy. Here, something or someone needs to give eventually, and this appears to be designer Gege Akutami’s way of telling Sukuna that she’s going to get tired of the whole situation.
The question is where that goes. “He will experience a Gojo moment and be unable to grow his Domain. He’s overstressed his brain,” a Reddit commenter writes. Another says, “At this rate, he’ll lose his domain forever.”
A third predicts that Yuji will lose the battle because he is angry with him and is throwing caution to the wind. We are aware that the Shinjuku finale will air soon since the tide may be shifting even as we speak.
