Suzy and Kim Seon Ho might be reunited in a new drama!
“It’s true that Kim Seon Ho has received an offer to star in ‘Delusion,’ and he is currently in talks to appear, with a favorable outlook,” SALT Entertainment, Kim Seon Ho’s agency, officially announced on August 14.
Han Jae Rim’s adaptation of “Delusion,” a mystery thriller set between 19th-century Shanghai and 1935 Gyeongseong, is based on the webtoon of the same name. In the drama, Yun Iho, an artist, is hired to create a picture of Song Jeong Hwa, an enigmatic woman, and he gradually begins to fall in love with her.
Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were confirmed to be in talks to star in “Delusion” earlier this year. However, the drama’s production company claimed that the two actors were no longer committed to the project after news of their split and subsequent relationship broke.
The production firm stated that although Suzy was the first actress to receive an offer for the role, her casting had not worked out at the time due to scheduling issues. At the end of July, it was made public that Suzy was in talks to portray female lead Song Jeong Hwa.
The part of male protagonist Yun Iho has been offered to Kim Seon Ho, who previously featured opposite Suzy in the popular 2020 drama “Start-Up” four years ago. This suggests that “Delusion” may be the beginning of the two actors’ reunion.
