Marvel Rivals was confirmed on March 27 following a flurry of leaks, and it will soon be released. In a brand-new 6v6 hero shooter that follows the Overwatch model, Marvel’s most recognizable heroes and villains will engage in combat using a variety of special skills and devastating techniques.
The game, which will debut as a free-to-play title, has been planned with numerous post-launch seasons in mind, indicating that long-term support is a priority. In the upcoming months and years, things will be shaken up by things like new characters, maps, and cosmetics.
However, the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha is the earliest anyone may play if you want to get in early. Here’s how to register.
How to register for the Closed Alpha of Marvel Rivals
You can join the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha by visiting the official website and filling out the registration form.
After answering a few brief questions about your area and your prior experience with other PVP games available, your submission will be finalized. But merely completing the form doesn’t mean you’ll get into the Closed Alpha.
Although this is only a small test to begin with, there will undoubtedly be more public testing in the future, so closed alpha access is not assured. You’ll be among the millions of people probably wanting to be invited early.
It’s not yet known if developments made in the Closed Alpha test will continue into later testing and the final release. Thus, it’s difficult to say for sure if you’re truly losing out on anything more than the opportunity to get some early access to a preview build.
Starting on May 10 at 5:00 PM (PDT) and running through May 20 at 11:59 PM (PDT), is the Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha.
In addition, the Closed Alpha will feature a number of exciting in-game events and a 6v6 tournament with a sizable prize pool. The game’s official Twitch channel and its own Content Creator program have also been launched.
