A new poster for the upcoming movie “Crypto Man,” starring the late Song Jae Rim, has been released, along with the confirmed release date.
“Crypto Man,” which is based on the real story of the world-shaking cryptocurrency meltdown, delves into the realms of startup investments, stock day trading, and get-rich-quick cryptocurrency schemes. Song Jae Rim, An Woo Yeon, Min Sung Wook, So Hee Jung, and Cha Jung Won are the film’s main actors.
Yang Do Hyun, the main character and self-described business whiz who creates the virtual money known as “MOMMY,” is portrayed by Song Jae Rim.
Drawing from a comprehensive investigation and court cases, “Crypto Man” underwent a rigorous assessment and legal consultation because it is based on a real-life tragedy that claimed many lives and is currently pending a final decision from judicial authorities.
Behind the camera is director Hyun Hae Ri, whose film “Nine Times Fired” won praise at the Cannes International Drama Festival. Hyun Hae Ri, who is well-known for her socially conscious documentaries, stated, “I try to tell the story as sharply and realistically as I can while adding dark comedy elements.”
Song Jae Rim passed away in November of last year, and his last movie, “Crypto Man,” will be released on January 15 of the following year.
