Ahead of tonight’s episode, KBS2’s “Perfect Family” has released some compelling new stills!
“Perfect Family,” a new mystery drama based on a well-liked webtoon, tells the story of an ideal and happy family that starts to doubt one another after their daughter is involved in a murder. Choi Jin Hyuk and Ha Eun Joo, her adoptive parents, are portrayed by Kim Byung Chul and Yoon Se Ah, while Park Ju Hyun plays Choi Sun Hee, a model student who ranks first in her school.
Spoilers:
Despite the fact that Lee Soo Yeon (Choi Ye Bin) killed Park Kyung Ho (Kim Young Dae) with a knife in the previous episode, Sun Hee—feeling guilty for having lied to Soo Yeon—ran home and informed her mother that she had actually killed Kyung Ho. Sun Hee learned the following day that all of Kyung Ho’s family had perished in a house fire that had broken out. Sun Hee’s parents, Choi Jin Hyuk and Ha Eun Joo, carried on with their regular activities as if nothing had happened, despite her fear. To exacerbate the situation, Sun Hee was unable to get through to Soo Yeon, who was not returning her calls.
A concerned Sun Hee visits Soo Yeon’s house in the recently released stills, but he finds no sign of her. As Soo Yeon continues to disappear, Sun Hee’s fear grows, adding to the case’s mystery.
The subsequent stills, however, show that Soo Yeon has been located and is bleeding. Following Kyung Ho’s death, Soo Yeon is the target of an enigmatic individual in the next episode. Soo Yeon passes out while being pursued. Why do they want to harm her, and who is targeting her?
In the meantime, Sun Hee is being questioned in relation to Kyung Ho’s murder in another batch of stills. The cops arrive at their house, but Jin Hyuk doesn’t seem phased. He keeps a straight face and a composed attitude. Not even the faintest hint of feeling comes over him when he finds out that his daughter has killed someone. Jin Hyuk observes the entire interrogation of Sun Hee with unwavering focus and steadiness.
Sun Hee, on the other hand, seems clearly nervous and afraid. She struggles to conceal her anxiety as she keeps her head down and hesitates to respond to the investigators’ questions.
Lee Sung Woo (Kim Myung Soo) pays close attention to Sun Hee’s story as Shin Dong Ho (Kim Do Hyun) asks penetrating questions, never taking his eyes off her.
On August 21 at 9:50 p.m. KST, “Perfect Family” will broadcast its upcoming episode.
