A new trailer for “Midnight Romance in Hagwon” has left fans in awe!
“Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” which is directed by Ahn Pan Seok of the popular drama “Something in the Rain,” is set against the backdrop of Daechi, a district that is recognized as the center of private education in Korea because of the large number of hagwons (private educational institutions) that are located there.
As Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won), a hagwon instructor who works relentlessly to help a cocky student named Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon) get into a prominent university, Jung Ryeo Won will play the lead role. Ten years later, after leaving a promising position at a major corporation, Lee Joon Ho unexpectedly returns to the hagwon as a rookie instructor. He meets up with Seo Hye Jin, his unfulfilled first love, for whom he has always had feelings.
The recently unveiled trailer depicts Lee Joon Ho returning to Seo Hye Jin’s life following his resignation from a major corporation. As a former pupil and source of pride for Seo Hye Jin, Lee Joon Ho is regarded as a “miracle case” that Seo Hye Jin brought up. Seo Hye Jin, however, tries to deter Lee Joon Ho from pursuing his dream of becoming a hagwon instructor since she is aware of how challenging the route may be.
“From now on, everyone besides yourself will attack you or use you,” issues a warning from Seo Hye Jin. Lee Joon Ho, though, only queries, “Does that mean you will too?” Their bond gradually grows as “student Lee Joon Ho” transforms into “teacher Lee Joon Ho.”
Though Lee Joon Ho remarks, “My patience has completely run out,” Seo Hye Jin hesitates at the heart-stopping changes in her life. Arousing hopes for their midnight romance, “Don’t avoid me.”
