Thanks to a recent job posting for developer Rockstar Games, fans think they have more time to decide when GTA 6 will be released.
In December 2023, Rockstar Games officially released a Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer following years of rumors and conjecture. at
The last few seconds of the teaser trailer promised a 2025 release timeframe, but it didn’t say when the game would be available for purchase.
Despite the unclear timeline, enthusiastic GTA fans continue to speculate. And if the conversation around a recent job advertisement is any indication, the guessing game will probably only get more intense.
Rockstar job advertisement may reveal the GTA 6 release date.
A fresh job posting for Rockstar Lincoln, the company’s North Hykeham-based satellite in the UK, was discovered over the weekend by Reddit user TwistLT. The job posting is for a contract position that will be filled for precisely one year, exclusively for Russian localization.
Interestingly, the Redditor notes that contractors will need to “Perform localization QA to ensure the final product quality is as high as possible” in order to be considered for the GTA 6 post.
The phrase “final product” appears crucial in this case since, as the user speculates, if the game is on track for a later release date in 2025, the company is unlikely to recruit a language tester and then fire them in March of the same year. Therefore, it’s anticipated that GTA 6 will be available in stores sometime in early 2025.
Naturally, for the time being, all of the aforementioned should be regarded with a grain of salt. Beyond revealing the launch window for 2025, Rockstar and publisher Take-Two have not yet provided a firm date for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.
When the two intend to release additional information regarding the game as a whole is also unknown at this time. Nevertheless, Grand Theft Auto enthusiasts are hoping that more details may become available shortly.
