This new contemporary romance seems like a lot of fun! How can it be anything other than such, given that the title literally translates to “Eat Run and Fall in Love” (吃饭跑步和恋爱)? This week was the filming ceremony for the Youku urban romance series featuring Sabrina Zhuang Dafei and Arthur Chen Feiyu. And can we all just take a second to notice how adorable these two are together in the show’s promotional posters? Not to mention how adorable they looked together at the show’s boot ceremony the other day in their matching ensembles.
Along with Lin Boyang, Denny Huang, Yi Daqian, Shang Wanqing, Yu Xiang, and Zhang Haolei, the series will also include Blue Lan and Ariel Ann in cameo roles.
Adapted on Chen Zhiyao’s (晈之遥) web novel (拜懑罗曼史), the story explores the theme of second chances amidst a story about young love. Ding Zhitong is a recent graduate who has little interest in dating and no time to date. Nevertheless, despite coming from different socioeconomic situations, they finally become a couple because of Gan Yang’s unwavering pursuit of her.
As the two young lovers quickly discover, love doesn’t always mean that it will mend their differences or provide an answer to their everyday issues.
