At the Billboard Music Awards last night, which were hosted in a number of live locations throughout California, the celebs were not exactly in full force. Rather, the event was a disorganized one, with celebrities participating virtually from “global locations, in the midst of sold-out tours, and in custom venues,” according to the organizers.
Even though the new format didn’t sit well with fans on social media, performers Mariah Carey, Karol G, and Bebe Rexha continued to dazzle on the numerous black carpets.
Carey was dressed in a white pleated mini dress with faux fur lining sleeves, reminiscent of her 1994 hit song “All I Want for Christmas is You.” She added some 1960s glam with thigh-high boots and oversized oval sunglasses, and she was ready to reprise her role as the “Queen of Christmas.”
Colombian singer-songwriter Karol G wore a sheer beige latex two-piece, giving off a just-out-of-the-shower vibe with its reddish-brown sinewy accents and wet-look hairstyle. Songwriter Bebe Rexha, meanwhile, looked fantastic in a side-trained, silver and metallic bustier, mermaid skirt, translucent black gloves, and a sparkling necklace.
