The anime film Maboroshi, directed by Mari Okada and produced by MAPPA, also titled Alice to Tres no Maboroshi Kojo in Japan, debuted on September 15 in that nation. Its Netflix streaming debut is now scheduled for January 15, 2024.
Accompanying the news was a final trailer with English subtitles.
The anime film, which is being produced at MAPPA, stars Okada as writer, director, and storyteller in addition to Tadashi Hiramatsu as assistant director, Yuriko Ishii as chief animation director and character designer, Kazuki Higashiji as art director, and Masaru Yokoyama as music composer. Warner Bros. will distribute the picture.
