Though the mini-console craze that began with the little NES Classic has mostly subsided, several adorable devices with lots of games are still on the horizon. One such example is the 400 Mini by Retro Games Ltd. and Plaion. It is precisely what it sounds like a scaled-down Atari 400 with a large number of preinstalled games, just like its peers.
The gadget itself is roughly half the size of the 1979 original, and it includes an updated CX40 Atari joystick that can be used with other devices because it supports USB. Together with an HDMI port that allows you to connect this small piece of yellow plastic to a contemporary screen, the console also features five USB ports that allow you to sideload games and connect joysticks or keyboards.
Regarding the games, Atari’s 8-bit era is represented by the 25 preinstalled titles on the 400 Mini. Games such as Berzerk, Millipede, Miner 2049er, M.U.L.E., and Star Raiders II are included in this. The games also have several save slots and the option to rewind action, among other contemporary conveniences.
