What will happen in Oshi no Ko Chapter 158 now that the manga is in the middle of the last arc and the series’ villain has been revealed?
Oshi no Ko is approaching its conclusion very gradually. The manga concluded the plot with Aqua and Ruby’s father in Chapter 153, marking the beginning of the last arc, Toward the Stars and Dreams.
That does not, however, imply a pleasant conclusion for the Hoshino siblings. As revealed in Chapter 155, there is a second villain who is hiding in the shadows and planning Ai’s murder. It is revealed that the individual is Nino, a former B-Komachi teammate of Ai.
Since then, though, the manga has slowed down and concentrated more on the everyday problems and character development of other characters. Chapter 157 followed the Hoshino siblings, while Chapter 156 revealed Memcho’s issues.

Spoilers for Chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko
It’s hard to guess what will happen in Oshi no Ko Chapter 158 based on the previous chapters. Other characters, such as Kana and Akane, might be the subject of the next chapter. It’s also possible that it will go straight to Aqua’s vengeance, which is the main focus of this arc.
Nonetheless, Chapter 157 does provide us with a small hint. Ruby falls asleep on Aqua’s lap as the story comes to a finish, after Aqua enjoys some relaxed time with his sister. Aqua eventually nods off as well, revealing to us the book he’s been reading.
The title of the book, “Tokyo University of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences,” suggests that Aqua intends to follow his previous life’s path of becoming a doctor instead of continuing with his fame career.
Chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko may provide additional information regarding his choice. Aqua has no reason to continue in show business now that he has located and met Hikaru. If he decides to go back into medicine, that makes sense.
