Talk about keeping your personal and professional lives apart. In You Are My Secret 私藏浪켫, coworkers who are also lovers and confidants outside of work are portrayed. Together for the first time, Miles Wei Zheming and Karlina Zhang Jianing will feature in the dramatization of Qing An’s novel (办公室隐婚), which is about a covert office marriage.
The cast, synopsis, and release date of You Are My Secret
You Are My Secret is Miles Wei Zheming’s fifth drama which will air in 2024. Prior to this, he landed supporting roles in White Cat Legend, Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact, and Lady Revenger Returns from the Fire, in addition to lead roles in 19th Floor. Karlina Zhang Jianing, who starred in Shining for One Thing, is her co-star and is now filming her fifth drama this year. She has previously appeared in Like a Flowing River 3 and Ode to Joy 5.
There were also new posters produced, and I really appreciate how they are both romantic and gentle with the lovely flowers edging the posters and businesslike with the actors’ attire. It definitely has a romantic office vibe to it, doesn’t it? And how adorable do they look in the teaser as they try to hide their relationship?
Similar to many contemporary dramas, Wang Zhen’er, Zhou Chengao, Dai Yunfan, and Ke Ying seem to be joining the cast as additional on-screen couples. The debut of You Are My Secret on Hunan TV and Mango TV is scheduled for July 31, 2024.
At home, you are the boss, at the bank, I am.
Ji Yuheng (Wei Zheming) and Tu Xiaoning (Zhang Jianing), two old classmates, reunite several years later in the narrative. They had a blind date and hit it off. The couple needs to get married as soon as feasible due to certain circumstances. However, when Ji Yuheng, a rising star at the bank where Tu Xiaoning is now employed as a probationary employee, abruptly takes over as her boss, a problem occurs.
And that’s where it gets complicated. How do they maintain a healthy work-life balance, ensure complete justice in the workplace, and ensure that it won’t affect their relationship? It’s obvious that the couple finds it difficult, particularly when Yuheng needs to restructure the KPIs and his wife is the one receiving the harshest criticism. The severe bank CEO, however, proves to be quite charming when he “yields” to his spouse at home.
