The sixty episodes of The Legend of Heroes 金庸武侠世界 is a quintessential wuxia, derived from Jin Yong’s The Legend of Condor Heroes. The first section of the book, Hot-Blooded, narrates the tales of Guo Jing, Huang Rong, Yang Kang, his biological brother, and Mu Nianci. The latter’s Wang Hongyi and Huang Yi couple combination generated considerable excitement but also faced criticism after the actor appeared to ignore his co-star at a recent press conference. Despite lower-than-expected ratings, the show nevertheless has its devotees. It just finished the 30-episode series Hot-Blooded. There are four more parts left, or thirty more episodes, and many people are curious about what will happen to the rest.

Some conjecture that the reason the final episodes were “pulled out” of the Youhug series—which was supposed to premiere on Tencent—was because of the ratings. Some, however, claim that the requirement for drama series with more than 40 episodes to follow a seasonal structure is only a result of Chinese regulations. The story Nine Yin True Sutra, directed by Taiwanese filmmaker Tsai Yueh Hsun, stars actress Meng Ziyi as Mei Chaofeng. Fans are looking forward to seeing a lot of these actors in the future portions. Fans will have to wait for an air date as the already fully shot series waits to be released.
