A reliable flex and a great way to demonstrate your grind in Call of Duty has always been achieving a new Prestige, but is it still possible if you hit XDefiant’s maximum level? What you should know is as follows.
It meant something to see someone at Max Prestige in CoD back then. Having finished the final grind of that year’s annual installment, they were at the top. A seasonal leveling mechanism was adopted by CoD, thus things aren’t quite the same as they were before.
Nevertheless, despite the change, FPS enthusiasts frequently demand comparable features in any other game they play. The competition to reach the maximum level by any means necessary has begun with XDefiant being the flavor of the month. What transpires, though, at that point?
This is all the information you need to know about the maximum level in XDefiant and if you can prestige after reaching it.
What is XDefiant’s maximum level at the moment?
Level 100 is the current XDefiant level ceiling.
For the time being, players cannot advance past level 100; at this point, all progress simply stops. Naturally, though, you may still advance each weapon level all the way to 100, so even the most committed players should have plenty of time to play.
Is Prestige possible in XDefiant?
As of this writing, Prestige is not yet available in XDefiant. Congratulations! You have reached the end of the primary advancement system—at least for the time being—if you were able to reach the level cap of 100 in the Pre-Season.
Since XDefiant does not yet have a prestige mode, there is a hard cap and no opportunity to go back and get additional awards. But it will undoubtedly alter in the future.
Executive Producer Mark Rubin stated that preparations for a Prestige system were underway a year prior to debut, while details were still being worked out. He reiterated those goals in 2024, saying the Ubisoft team is still “working on a Prestige mode.” As of right now, nobody knows when the feature might go live.
Assuming no unanticipated delays, Season 1 is scheduled to premiere on July 1st, with the Pre-Season presently in progress. To establish a Prestige system and retain the most committed players for the long haul, Season 1 would be a suitable time. As more information becomes available in the upcoming weeks, we’ll just have to wait and see what the developers have in store.
