Joyfully, On Tuesday, December 5, Forest Family Electric Forest revealed the 2024 roster.
The four-day festival will feature a lineup that once again blends electronic, jam music with rock, hip-hop, indie, and more. Pretty Lights, whose sold-out, 27-date comeback tour concluded this past weekend, will be the headline act, along with tech house sensation John Summit, Subtronics, Excision, and resident headliners The String Cheese Incident.
Techno icon Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, LSDream, and Summit as Everything Always, Nelly Furtado, The Disco Biscuits, Knock2, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Ben Bohmer, Clozee, and LSDream as Psyren, and numerous others are also receiving top billing. In the upcoming months, more acts will be added to the schedule.
In 2019, Electric Forest founder Jeremy Stein told Billboard, “What I care more about is that attendees walk past a stage where they don’t know the act, but they stop because it’s cool music.” “A varied lineup opens up a lot of opportunities for attendees from various backgrounds to attend the festival.” You’ll attend because you love ten of the acts on the schedule, and you’ll go away a much bigger fan.
On June 20–23, 2024, the event will return to Rothbury, Michigan. The festival’s tickets go on sale on Friday, December 8.
The festival, which is produced by AEG Presents and Insomniac Events, is held on a wooded 400-acre swath of property 10 miles east of Lake Michigan in the tiny town of Rothbury, Michigan, which has a population of around 440. This location has hosted the event since 2008.
