While cold pizza is certainly cool, have you ever warmed up leftovers to such a perfect temperature that they tasted almost better than the original dish? If your previous attempts at reheating pizza were unsuccessful, there may be a few easy tips you may use going forward. Tossing a slice or two into a hot skillet in the oven is the best way to reheat your ‘za if you’re not in a hurry. However, your handy microwave or a non-stick pan can be your best bet if you need a quick lunch or dinner before you go. Of course, one of the best appliances for improving your leftover pizza is an air fryer.

Therefore, give one of the following methods for reheating pizza a few more minutes before you bite into that chilly piece straight out of the fridge. Even a day or two later, you’ll be amazed at how crispy, cheesy, and delicious your pizza is.

Oven Pizza Reheat Instructions

Pizza reheated in the oven requires very little cleanup and is a reliable approach if you have the time. Actually, all you’ll need is a baking sheet, some aluminum foil, and any extra toppings you may want to use.

  1. Set an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet in the oven and warm it to 350 degrees.
  2. Trust us, once the oven is warmed, place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5 minutes to get it hot. Your pizza will be crispy if you take this extra step.
  3. After that, gently take the heated baking sheet out of the oven, add your pizza, and put it back in for ten minutes or so. (It is advisable to give it a quick glance after five minutes to ensure the cheese is bubbling but not scorching.)
  4. Take the pizza out of the oven and serve after 10 minutes.

How to Microwave Pizza to Reheat It

Although reheating food in a microwave is the fastest and most effective method, it frequently results in mushy and unappetizing food. However, there is a secret to making wonderful, crispy microwave pizza, and all you need is a cup of water.

  1. Take a piece of pizza and place it in the microwave on a dish that is appropriate for the microwave.
  2. After that, fill a cup halfway with water and set it next to the pizza pan.
  3. The pizza should be heated on high for 20 to 30 seconds, or until the required temperature is reached. As the cheese melts to perfection, the water will help crisp up the crust.
  4. After taking the pizza out of the microwave, serve it.

How to Use the Air Fryer to Warm Up Pizza

That your air fryer can turn your leftovers into enticingly fresh pizza shouldn’t come as a surprise (and you can do it in no time). You might want to work in batches, depending on how big your air fryer is and how many slices you’re cooking up.

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees. Arrange a slice or two of pizza on parchment paper in the center of the rack.
  2. The pizza should bake for one to two minutes. It should only take a few minutes to fully reheat your pizza and give it a crispy crust, however cooking durations may vary.
  3. After taking the pizza out of the air fryer, serve it.

How to Warm Up Pizza on the Cooktop

This is another easy way to reheat pizza that’s often forgotten. It’s quick and clean.

  1. Take a nonstick pan and set it on the burner for a few minutes at medium-high heat.
  2. Place your pizza slice on top and heat it through until the bottom is crispy.
  3. After that, add a few drops of water to the pan and keep the lid on for a further minute. This will aid in the cheese’s melting consistency.
  4. After taking the pizza out of the pan, serve it.
