One Punch Man was first published online as a webcomic by writer ONE. The author spent a significant amount of his life in Saitama after being born in Niigata. His parents purchased a series of comic novels that were highly well-liked in Japan when he visited his grandparents, who were located in Niigata. Yoshito Usui was the creator of this Crayon Shin-chan series. This young man appeared to take an interest in this specific comic book, and ever since, he has frequently dedicated his free time to honing his drawing skills.

With time, the fan base expanded, and ultimately some of the most well-known manga artists took note of this series as well. But before he was a full-time artist, One took a lot of pauses. After discovering the series, Yusuke Murata contacted ONE with the intention of working with them.

In 2012, the two partnered and released two one-shot games before to working on the One Punch Man series. After that, Murata published the chapter on the Tonari no Young Jump website and they got to work on the One Punch Man series. The series’ anime adaption was revealed on March 10, 2015, later in 2015. This was really exciting since Madhouse Studios, one of the top animation studios at the time, was going to handle the anime adaptation.
